At the heart of The Fat Swan are Emile and Joy, a couple united by their passion for travel and cuisine.


Emile, a Belgian native, discovered his love for cooking through extensive travels, sampling diverse flavours and culinary traditions across the globe. Determined to perfect his craft, he returned to Belgium and trained at the renowned Spermalie Culinary School, refining his appreciation for quality ingredients and innovative techniques.
Our Story
Joy, originally from Thailand, brought her own rich background in hospitality. With years of experience in first-class service as a cabin crew, Joy’s warmth and dedication to guest experience shine through in every aspect of the restaurant.


Together, combining with Emile’s culinary expertise and Joy’s heartfelt hospitality, The Fat Swan is a celebration of global flavours and genuine service. It is our dream brought to life, and we cannot wait to share it with you.
